![]() ![]() Send To Kindle Mac app to send longer Web articles to your Kindle, and AppleScripts you might use to handle images and PDF files that you “print” from your iOS devices. Similarly, I’ve got Send To Preview and Send to PDFpen virtual printers that automatically open PDF versions of documents in OS X’s Preview app and Smile’s PDFpen, respectively. So I’ve created a virtual printer called Send To Acorn I can simply print a screenshot using the Send To Acorn virtual printer, and the image is sent to my Mac and automatically opened in Acorn. For example, when I take a screenshot on my iPad, there’s a good chance that the screenshot will eventually find its way to the Acorn image editor on my Mac. You can also use Printopia to send files directly to applications on your Mac. You can also recover your Chromebook if it doesn’t boot past a black screen. For example, I have one that saves to a Web Receipts folder inside my Mac’s Dropbox folder-whenever I purchase something using Safari on my iPad, I use Printopia to save the receipt to this folder by “printing” the webpage. Recover Your Chromebook Using the Recovery Media Performing a recovery can fix operating system (OS) corruption and resolve issues that a factory reset or powerwash fails to fix. You can create as many additional “Send to Mac” virtual printers as you like. The second, Send To Dropbox On Mac, saves files to a similar folder inside your Dropbox folder-where, of course, they’re synced to all your other devices. The first is Send To Mac, which, when selected as the destination “printer” on your iOS device, saves any “printed” photo or document to a Printopia folder inside your Documents folder. It's very frustrating!By default, Printopia creates two virtual printers. Honestly, I wish I had that problem and not what I believed you were reporting as I am not able to print over google cloud print. On Monday, Decem9:46:16 AM UTC-5, 215ebr wrote: That's great! I stand corrected. Suddenly, none of the gcp printers are available to print my job. ![]() Further, I am limiting my report to one printer because I want to keep this simple until it proves to be an issue I need to expand the area of our troubleshooting to cover, but there are 3 printers connected to the gcp account that were setup the first go around with gcp and as I said they all worked without fail for a while. Approximately 1 month or maybe even 2 months at this point I noticed when I went to print the printer was not available. Btw, I guess I should mention this is a problem that showed up after gcp working flawlessly for six or more months. I went straight to my web gcp dashboard where I immediately saw my printer was "OFFLINE." Seriously? I can't figure this one out for the life of me. No errors flawless and I believed I was ready to go. The setup process then did its thing and was done. Subsequently, I started up Chrome and went through the setup successfully (I thought)! Without issue I followed the setup, my available choices of printers to add to cloud print by gcp's list that (I guess) auto populates using the printers your computer has installed on it was displayed showing the printer I am reporting on I chose to add the printer. I disconnected the gcp extension in chrome browsers setting menu and through the gcp web based dashboard I deleted the printer. ![]() What could be the road block here? In fact in my afternoon troubleshooting before getting here I did a fresh setup of the cloud print extension. I know the printer works and there are no connection problems because I am literally sitting in front of it and able to click through the file - print menus in whatever application (word, adobe acrobat pro xi, or even a tab in my Chrome browser) on the computer and watch the machine print the job. To print, open a document > Ctrl + P > choose Destination > See More. Select Add a Printer and choose a printer. Then select the time > Settings > Advanced > Printing > Printers. For wireless printing, connect your printer to Wi-Fi. Honestly, I wish I had that problem and not what I believed you were reporting as I am not able to print over google cloud print. For a wired connection, connect with a USB cable. ![]()
